A Legacy on Lake Mohawk
For more than 60 years, the Ski Hawks have been practicing and performing on the waters of Lake Mohawk in Sparta, New Jersey. Generations of skiers have helped build a tradition that continues to bring excitement to the lake each summer.
Today, our team includes members ranging in age from young skiers just getting started to experienced athletes with decades on the water.
The Ski Hawks are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting water skiing as a family sport and providing free summer ski shows for the Lake Mohawk community.
Life is simple

Teamwork
Skiers, boat drivers, spotters, the show director, the dock diva, equipment coordinators, safety personnel, announcers and the script, membership, act, costume and fundraising committees. Everyone gets to participate!
Community
Everybody looks forwards to being down on the beach. Even on frosty, choppy mornings the team circle-up is full of smiles and laughs. We are so proud of the role models our young members become as they mentor the next generation.
Family
The Ski Hawks provide an incredible and unique opportunity for families to be teammates. Kids cheering for their parents, siblings working together, and time spent together is what make the Ski Hawks special.
